Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Host Dada Search Intelligence (“the service”), provided by Host Dada. Host Dada is a company registered in England under company number 14514477. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

The service tracks how websites perform in search: Google rankings, data you share with us from Google Search Console and Google Analytics, backlinks, technical site audits, Google Maps positions, reviews and answers given by AI assistants. Figures from third parties (Google, data providers and AI assistants) are reported as we receive them; we can’t guarantee their accuracy or that any particular result will improve.

Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with the limits shown at sign-up. We don’t ask for a card and don’t charge you when it ends. When the trial ends your data stops updating but is kept, so you can pick up where you left off by choosing a plan. One trial per person or business.

Plans, payment and cancelling

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider Stripe. Prices are in pounds and are the full price you pay — no VAT is added.
• Upgrades take effect straight away and the difference is charged pro rata. Downgrades take effect straight away and any unused amount is credited against your next invoice.
• You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it.
• If a payment fails we’ll retry it and tell you. If it still can’t be collected, data collection is paused until it’s paid.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for anything unlawful; try to access other customers’ data or our systems; resell or share access outside your plan’s logins; overload or reverse-engineer the service; or use it to harass or harm others. You’re responsible for the websites and searches you add and for having the right to give us access to any Google Search Console or Analytics properties you share with us.

Your data

Your data stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy notice. You can export reports at any time. If you close your account we delete your data within 90 days, except what we must keep by law (for example invoices).

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and to give notice of planned maintenance, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; if we remove something central to your plan we’ll tell you, and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or rankings, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. If you’re a consumer, you also have your statutory rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. You may close your account at any time.
